      Pp. 209. Original blue cloth, rubbed, remains of old label on spine. Old Asian stamp on title page. Some browning. Copy belonging to the German sinologist Albert von Le Coq with his bookplate. Second edition (first Maulmein 1852) which was revised and rewritten by F.D. Phinney who states in the preface that he has altered the style of the work and "rewritten the Romanized Burmese words as closely as possible in accordance with the Hunterian system". Cordier BI 349.
