These plates include 18 mounted Woodburytypes (generally 130 x 180 mm or larger, including a 120 x 285 mm panorama). Ruled and gilt-lettered spine, a.e.g. A still-important artist monograph including catalogue of principal works: frescoes, easel pictures, tapestries, works in architecture, sculpture, drawings, various works, and works wrongly attributed to Raphael. Considered the classic work on Raphael in it's day. Foot of spine, gutters worn, bookplate, otherwise very good condition; no ownership marking, NOT EX-LIBRARY. (lr/eb).
