Brustbild im Oval mit Wappen, dazu ausführlicher lateinischer Text. Kupferstich aus "Philosophia Herbipolensis aeternae episcoporum." von A. R. F. Höffling bei Kleyer in Würzburg, 1712. 25 x 16,3 cm (Plattengröße), 18 x 16 cm (Bildgröße). - Leicht gebräunt, im weißen Rand und im Text etwas fleckig, linker Plattenrand brüchig und hinterlegt. - Rudolf I.: 10. Bischof von Würzburg (891 - 908). Rudolf wird als Verwandter der Gemahlin des Königs von diesem protegiert, was in der Diözese zu Konflikten mit den Babenbergern führte. Die Zeitgenossen bezeichneten ihn als dumm und unfähig. Er fiel auf einem Feldzug 908 in Thüringen. (Kolb/ Krenig I, S.164) Sprache: Deutsch Gewicht in Gramm: 0.
