[4], 227, pp. ix-xvii, [1]blank, [1], lxiii, [3]. numerous illus. original lithograph (33' x 22 1/2') inserted in inner front pocket of box together with illus. broadside description. original wrs. in publisher's clamshell box. First Edition, one of 50 deluxe copies, signed and numbered by Oldenburg, with original signed & numbered lithograph, entitled The Office, A Typewriter Print. The print, 'a random accumulation of sounds one might hear in an average office.is built up of photo-enlargements of typing produced by [Oldenburg] on [his] vintage L.C. Smith typewriter.' It was printed at the lithography workshop of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design during May and June of 1974 on Arches Book Text in five colours, each chosen by the artist.
