Original Cloth. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. First US edition. Translated from the French by Viola Garvin. This translation was originally published in the UK by Gollancz in 1931. The spine is a little darkened and the front and rear panels are darkened around the edges. Corners a little rubbed and bumped. Browning to the page edges. Previous owner's label to front pastedown and this has left a brown patch on the front free endpaper. Endpapers browned with a little spotting. The pages are a little browned but otherwise clean and unmarked. No jacket. First printing.…
