Quarter Leather. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. 431p substantial book bound in quarter leather with gilt titling n the spine. Correction slip loose in the book as issued. Copy No.137 (of an edition of 200?). Covers the Parish Registers, with index of names, churchwardens, the vestry book, the Record of the Manor Court. roll of inhabitants assessed for Poll Tax, 1660, list of Wills, Roman Coins found at Knowle, a Hunting Incident, notes on population and 10 plates as called for and a plan of the church. All original and internally clean and tight though front hinge superficially cracked. Light marking to the boards and spine faded. Virtually no foxing. See scans and email for many more.

Corrections slip loose at start. Very clean tight text has been (fairly recently) been fitted with new endpapers and rebound in what appear to be the original pale grey cloth covers with side sections of original green ?leather spine.
