Clean internals. Inner hinges are sound and not split. 190 pp 8vo. This is the kind of book that the reader will enjoy for a very long time and will want to return to often. Each of the nearly fifty essays is a delight in itself and an opportunity to reflect upon the human and natural worlds of which we are all members. And the many drawings by the author succeed beautifully in capturing the mood of reflection. From his cabin in the woods, the author makes his shrewd and discerning, and always wise and practical, observations on human life and on the life of nature. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
