Hardcover. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. Publisher's dark green cloth, octavo, pp. 566. The statistics pages are a bit of a dry read, but there is plentiful good biographical and genealogical information regarding Legislators. Editor Owen (1869-1958) was Director of the state of Alabama's Department of Archives and History, as well as the aunt of actress Tallulah Bankhead. She was inducted into the Alabama Women's Hall of Fame in 1975. Owen has signed the book with her compliments, perhaps in haste, as the inscription is upside down and on the rear free endpaper. Board tips and spine ends of the book are shelf worn. Title lettering has faded away with the decades. Random spots on the binding and on the page edges. Small white sticker on free front endpaper. Internally clean and unmarked. Signed by Author(s).
