In Kingâs introduction to The Bachman Books, he hinted that more âundiscoveredâ Bachman manuscripts may be lurking. In 1996, he published The Regulators as a âposthumousâ Bachman novel. First Edition, First impressionÂA near fine signed example with a near fine condition original jacket. Scarce in this condition. Boldly signed by Stephen King in vibrant blue ink on the half title page. All first edition points present including the complete number line on the copyright page. The book is in beautiful crisp, clean near fine condition with red paper and beige quarter cloth boards. The boards have sharp corners, and no edgewear. The binding is tight and square, and still snaps shut when opened. Strong unfaded blue titles to the spine, with a red rose to the front board. Stephen King signed the book in blue ink on the half title page. The interior of the book is in crisp clean condition with bright pages with no handling marks, no stains, no foxing, no bent pages and no age toning to the pages. Beautiful condition book internally appearing as crisp and unread. Please see images. The stunning original unrestored dust jacket is in beautiful fine condition. (EDITORIAL NOTE: This cataloger would very much like to trade this copy for book number 340 which he was offered some while ago and like an idiot, declined).
