Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. First Edition. BB3 - A first edition (stated with complete numberline) hardcover book SIGNED by Larry King on the title page very good condition in very good dust jacket that is mylar protected. Dust jacket and book have some bumped corners, wrinkling on the spine edges, light discoloration and shelf wear. Larry King, world-famous radio and television personality, has asked the talented, the beautiful, the wise, and the rich a question all of us have pondered: How would you like to be remembered after your death? The result is Remember Me When I'm Gone, an entertaining and eloquent collection of "last words" from people in the arts, in politics, in sports, and in business, mostly still alive. In telling and moving reflections, often leavened by self-deprecating humor, these celebrities look back on their lives, their ambitions, their mistakes, and their accomplishments. The contributions range from pithy one-liners by Yogi Berra ("It's over."), Dave Barry, George Carlin, and Liz Smith ("Excuse my dust!"); to inspired sketches by Stephen King and Peter Falk; to candid reflections from Don Shula, Fred Rogers, and Chevy Chase; to hilarious rants from Margaret Cho and Tommy Lee; and a last request by Arthur Hailey. Often surprising and always memorable, Remember Me When I'm Gone is a timeless collection by stars who will live on forever. 7.75"x5.25", 215 pages. Satisfaction Guaranteed. Larry King (Lawrence Harvey Zeiger) was an American TV and radio host presenter, author, and former spokesman. He was a WMBM radio interviewer in the Miami area in the 1950s and 1960s and beginning in 1978, gained national prominence as host of The Larry King Show, an all-night nationwide call-in radio program heard over the Mutual Broadcasting System. From 1985 to 2010, he hosted the nightly interview television program Larry King Live on CNN. King hosted Larry King Now from 2012 to 2020, which aired on Hulu, Ora TV, and RT America. He hosted Politicking with Larry King, a weekly political talk show, on the same three channels from 2013 to 2020. King conducted over 50,000 interviews on radio and television. King was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York City, to Jewish parents who immigrated to the United States from what is now Belarus in the 1920s. He studied at Lafayette High School, a public high school in Brooklyn. During his career, King also appeared in television series and films, usually playing himself. He remained active until his death in 2021. His awards and nominations include two Peabodys, an Emmy, and 10 Cable ACE Awards. King was also awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 32nd Annual News and Documentary Emmys. On January 2, 2021, King was hospitalized at the Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles. King recovered from COVID-19 but died on January 23 from sepsis at the age of 87. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Signed by Author.

Romance writer Nora Roberts reportedly crafted the first half of this romantic crime drama, set essentially in "the present day" (2003) -- J.D. Robb, who writes the futuristic Eve Dallas police procedurals. completes the tale in New York, 2059. Both authors sign this 2003 hardcover first printing (their capital "R"s being nearly identical) to the title page, having inscribed it "Merry Christmas" to Mimi and dated it 12/03. To jacket rear panel, the publishers reveal Roberts and Robb share "a house in Maryland, a husband, and a website." We still find J.D Robb the more attractive of the two, though presumably cosmetics may have played a role, here. 440 pp. Inscribed by Author(s).
