AN ATTRACTIVE COPY OF THIS VERY PERSONAL INSCRIBED AND SIGNED STEGNER TITLE. A prize winning novelette, it was Wallace Stegner's first book. It was awarded the Little, Brown prize. Stegner considered J. his favorite reader and wrote as much when he inscribed another book to her in later years.
