Signed on the half title page by John Glenn and inscribed to an individual by first name only, dated 11-28-06. Copies of this book signed by John Glenn are very scarce. Foreword by Scott Carpe…nter. Dust jacket protected in a mylar sleeve, not price clipped. Dust jacket and book are in excellent condition, no chips, no marks. John Glenn was one of the original Mercury Seven astronauts. He was the third American in space and the first American to orbit the Earth, circling three times in 1962. In 1998 he became, at that time, the oldest astronaut at 77 to fly into space on the space shuttle Discovery. He is the only astronaut to have flown in both the Mercury and Space Shuttle programs. In 2016 he passed away at the age of 95. A very scarce, signed, collectible copy. Signed by Author(s).
