Inner hinges are sound and not split. 282 pp 8vo. This is the unpublished true story of the wildest commando raid of WWII. In the fall of 1943, MAJ Ivan Lyon with 13 soldiers with native dress and brown painted skin, sailed a reconditioned junk 2000 miles from Australia into Japanese waters in Singapore Harbor. Using small one-man folboats, silently paddled into the Harbor, attached limpet mines to seven ships and sank some 4000 tons of Japanese supplies. A clean very presentable reading copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
