Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Rare vintage 1949 first American edition of The Magic of Rezvani. It is softcover and is bound in its original paper wrappers. The wrappers have some light wear. The binding is good and sound. The interior is lightly toned from age but generally nice and clean, though there may be some occasional light foxing and grubbiness. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection, such as a creased page corner, tiny chip or tear, minor stain or marking, etc. Generally though, it's a very nice copy. The book measures approximately 9 inches by 6 1/8 inches and is 89 pages long.

Soft cover. Condition: Good. First American Edition. The front cover is marred by a long red pencil line which has been mitigated by careful erasure using a non-abrasive eraser. So it is a faint intermittent red pencil line at this point. Otherwise a good or better copy with no interior markings. This is the ORIGINAL American edition, not the phony copy some unscrupulous sellers are peddling. Some normal toning to paper and covers. Pamphlet bound in stiff paper wrappers. No bookplates, no markings, no prior owner labels. Unusual magic by the Iranian magician Medjid Kan Rezvani, who performed in France in the 1930s and/or 1940s. Includes his famous tomato trick (cups and balls routine using cloth bags resembling tomatoes and two cups.) Also featured are a Persian cup routine, marble trick and card magic. Illustrated with drawings.

Ed. P. Rey - 2022 - E.O. Livres.
