Cloth. Condition: Good. Beige cloth printed in black. 148 pp. With fold out maps throughout, as well as one in the rear pocket. All present as called for. A travel guide to the Rhine region of Germany, discussing the many cities and towns in the region, as well as means of travel (boat, train, etc.). GOOD condition. Minor uneven fading to the covers, with an area of heavy fading/discoloration at the upper corners of both covers, presumably from water exposure. Minor soiling. Text block toned. Faint dampstain affecting the upper corner of most pages of the book.

Hardback. Condition: Good. Illustrated by fold out maps (illustrator). Cover Slightly Worn; 123 pages.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Some wear to covers and spine, mainly edges and corners, corners a little bumped and worn, top and bottom of spine a little bumped and worn, a light stain on surface of back cover, internally in good condition, pages crisp and clear, all maps present and in good condition, including the one in the pocket at the end of the book, most have a small 1 cm rip on hinge, some have previous sellotape repairs that have now dried up and turned brown.

16mo, pp. 146, [2]; 7 folding color maps; publisher's tan cloth; a few pages with some foxing, an extra folding map in back pocket, near fine. Grieben's was a "cheaper, less detailed" competitor of Baedeker.
