Softcovers. Condition: Good to Very Good. Presumed First Edition. No stated date c1946. Presumed first edition. 44pp. plus the inside of the covers, many black and white illustrations and a double-page colour illustration in the centre of the book. This is a brief history of the part played by the Eighth Indian Division in the Second World War. It was published under the authority of the Director of Public Relations, War Department, Government of India, and distributed in the U.K. by Gale & Polden. The book is staple-bound in the original paper covers and is in good to very good condition. The covers have shelf wear with some soiling and a set of initials have been written on the top edge of the front cover. A section measuring about 1" x 1" is missing from the top corner of the front cover and a previous owner has replaced the gap with strips of translucent tape. Small pieces missing from the rear fore and bottom edges have also been replaced with tape and there are strips of tape covering the spine. The contents are secure and clean with no inscription.

Condition: Very Good. First edition. Paperback. Large twelvemo. 45pp. Slight wear to covers with corner of lower rear cover clipped, a couple of small correction fluid marks to first page, otherwise very good.
