Wraps. Stapled. Condition: Very Good. Various (illustrator). Selling a pipe dream? Or a plausible career path for more than just a few, back when a far greater portion of advertising relied on drawn and/or painted illustration as opposed to photography? The promotion, whatever the merits of its pitch, is abundantly illustrated, with a good amount of color, showing examples of artwork from leading illustrators of the day -- generally names unfamiliar to us, but more than competent professional work, whether commercial art in a wide variety of areas, including fashion, decor, services, etc. -- cartoon, journalistic, etc. Also many photos of the artists, the school, artists at work. 4to. 25.5 by 18.5 cm. 66, [2] pp. Moderate wear, with flattened creases, minor surface loss on cover, some light scattered soiling, a loose gathering. Still easily Very Good.
