The inscription covers the front pastedown, both sides of the front fly, and the half-title. While Farrell's penmanship tends towards the scrawly, his recitation of the genesis of the novel's birth and publication is readable with only modest effort. A remarkable insight into the novel. The second book of the Bernard Clare trilogy.
