SIGNED by the author to the FEP. SCARCE SIGNED> This copy is VG in a VG, unclipped ($5.00)DJ with photo of author to the rear. Illustrated with 14 photographs plus the frontispiece of Lee in full uniform from 1863. Exterior is rich. Lettering is bright. Minimal wear around the edges. Inside is unmarked, crisp, and tight.DJ has modest wear/ chipping around the edges and modest toning/foxing to spine. Otherwise bright and clean. Signed by Author(s).

Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fine. First edition. Good Signed by Editor Stanley fine. Horn on front end page, Bottom half of front panel and part of bottom of spine shows fading and water damage to cloth with small spots worn through on bottom of front panel, spine ends and panel corners bumped, church stamp and former owners name in pen on top of front end page, pink stains on bottom edges of front pastedown and front end page, former owners name and address on last end page, some light blotchy fading on corners of back panel, scattered tiny white stains on top of front panel.
