Second edition of two collections of poems by the Slovak poet, journalist, and later communist politician Laco Novomeský (1904-1976), which were first published in 1927 and 1932 respectively, in Bratislava and Lama? near Bratislav. The present volume appeared in the "Edition of Young Slovak Authors" (Edícia mladých slovenských autorov) published by Slovak students from 1925 to 1937 in Prague. Wrappers designed by Czech painter, graphic designer, and set designer Alexandr Vladimír Hrska (1890-1954). As of February 2024, KVK and OCLC show four copies in North America.
