Original publisher's cloth binding in green, lettered gilt with decorative Art Nouveau styling and colour illustration on front cover. /Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester, born Henry William Frederick Albert n (1900Ğ1974) was the third son and fourth child of King George V and Queen Mary. He served as Governor-General of Australia from 1945 to 1947. Very good. A slight rubbing and fraying to head of spine. Signedes.

Lyrics by Hilaire Belloc, Clifford Bax and John Arthington.Loosely inserted is the programme (printed folded sheet), dated New Year's Day, 1926, for an amateur performance with a cast of various members of the Thackeray, Ritchie, McCarthy and Cornish families. Also included is an Autograph Letter Signed by a member of the Ritchie family and dated 23 Feb. 26: about 250 words to a Mr Johnson mostly devoted to an explanation of the familial links of the performers.Some spotting to edges. Signs of damp to spine and edges of covers. Very good. Very scarce.
