L L D, With the sincere good wishes of his respectful and obliged Servant," dated 1842.Containing:The first 1838 edition of Journal of a Trip to Liverpool, London, &c. &c. &c., originally appeared in the 'Glasgow Constitutional;' A lovely journal of a trip to Liverpool, published anonymously but confirmed to be by James McNab. Including Second Trip: Random Recollections of London, &c.(From the Glasgow Constitutional, March &, 1840.)Dated from Jisc 1840, Watering Places: All the Arcticles that lately appeared in the Glasgow Constitutional under the head "Watering Places." Exploring Scottish places on the beautiful Scottish coast, with also a notice of Bothwell. Again anonymous but confirmed to be by James McNab. The dates when they originally appeared in the newspaper are preserved.The first 1842 edition ofNotes Taken During a Month's Trip in August, 1841. A charming recollection of a long trip taken by the author around Europe, visiting places such as Paris, Brussels, and Manheim. With notes of the House of Lords, Duke of Wellington, &c. &c.In a lovely full calf binding. In a full calf binding with five raised bands and marbled edges. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear and a minor rubbing to the spine. With a slight mark to the front board.
