Add to basketNo Binding. Condition: Very Good. Newport All Stars, SIGNED by all members; George Wein, Ruby Braff, Red Norvo, Joe Venuti, Barney Kessel, Larry Ridley, Don Lamond. All signed on a page from a Jazz festival programme, likely held in the Netherlands, circa 1960s. The page is made up of two sections stuck together at the edge, probably so that the entire article could be seen when it was kept in an album. Measures approximately 8 x 12 inches. These are genuine autographs, not a photocopy or preprint. Condition: Small scuffed patches to the reverse, probably from when this had been removed from an album at some time in the past. Provenance: This came direct from the Jan van Bree estate. Jan van Bree (1938-2024) was a Dutch native and a prolific autograph collector. His collection spanned around fifty albums. It began in 1957 when he wrote to the famous Italian singer Beniamino Gigli and received a handwritten reply. That one letter spurred Jan to write to as many famous people as possible, all over the world and to collect autographs in person. Signed by Author(s).
