Mr. Webster is the popular American cartoonist known for his syndicated series which ran from the 1920s into the 1950s. Webster's style was quite similar to the work of golfing cartoonist Clare Briggs. Brown cloth worn at spine ends and corners. Slight pastedown offset, rear ep has a small red mark. No underlining, check marks, foxing, notations, marginalia, soiling, creases, tears, etc. Dust jacket inner panel has upper corner trimmed although the price on the lower panel corner is present, now protected in mylar.
