Original marbled paper on boards with quarter leather with black inset with gilt lettering to cover and gilt design on spine. Grey Green endpapers. Heavy paper with lovely print strike. Book in good to very good condition due to wear on cover. The text block better with only minor darkening. See photographs. Book 3936 location 3-2.

Cloth. Condition: Good. 138 pages. Includes the Rules, Orders, &c and Index to these (up to page 37). Thereafter follows The British North America Act, 1867, with Schedules [pp. 39-108] as well as the Index to the Act [pp. 109-138]. Now-faded mauve cloth over boards. Moisture stain from a beverage has lifted the cloth surrounding gilt titles on front cover though cloth remains affixed at circumference; chipping to spine; former owner's signature and soiling to front pastedown / endpapers; else clean and unmarked in secure binding with sound hinges. A scarce Confederation publication.
