Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. H. Lawrence Hoffman (illustrator). 1st Edition. 8vo., 190pp. Sharp First Edition of this Ralph Lindsey mystery. Bound in blue cloth with lettering in black. Square, tight and clean throughout save some mild off-setting to paste-downs but no toning or foxing to pages. Some fairly mild wear to spine ends. Attractive unclipped dust-jacket, ($2.95), has Some tiny closed tears and chipping to extremities. Rubbing to folds. Spine light toning to spine. Still fresh and bright. Though not marked in any way, this came directly from the library of H. Lawrence Hoffman who illustrated the dust-jacket. His son, David Hoffman, the noted documentary filmmaker, has signed a statement with information about his father, the artist, and attesting that the book was from his library. A copy of this is included. A solid collectable copy.
