Saint Paul was first published by Macmillan in 1867. Frederic William Henry Myers (1843-1901) is now remembered as a psychical researcher; Edward James Watson (1865-1934) was a Bristol solicitor, and Francis James Fry (1835-1918), of Cricket St Thomas, Somerset, the eldest son of Francis Fry the bibliographer.
