Other 'names' who spent time. there include dancer Isadora Duncan, actresses Ethel Barrymore and Marie. Dressler, even the editor Max Perkins. One of his plays produced there. included two of Woodrow Wilson's daughters, with Wilson in attendance. He. had several talented children, and was the son of the 19th century actor. Steele MacKaye, and the brother of conservationist Benton MacKaye, who. was instrumental in the inception of the Appalachian Trail.
