Condition: Fair. 1905. No Edition Remarks. 80 pages. No dust jacket. Red illustrated cloth boards with lettering. Contains black and white plates. Clean pages and plates with noticeable tanning and foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers, pastedowns and last page textblock. Ink stamp and pen inscription to front free endpaper. Label stuck to front free endpaper. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Lettering is darkened. Visible wear marks to boards.

Hard Cover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. First Edition. 80pp, illustrated blue cloth covered boards. Author portrait and 19 photographic plates. Name neatly cut from flyleaf a couple of spots of foxing, otherwise internally clean. Insects and humans under the microscope.

12mo [18 x 12 cm]; xii, [13] - 80 pp, frontis of author at microscope, 19 other plates including one of microscopes, other of specimens. original red cloth with white decorations and lettering, spine lettering faded but still visible, decorative endpapers, very good copy, clean throughout. The work includes good examples of items to see with a good optical microscope including insects, skin, blood, parasites, plants, spiders, bee, frog, etc. A picture of this book is available on request.
