Hardcover. Condition: Fair. INSCRIBED by the author. Fair copy only. A usable hard cover First Edition with insect damage to the printed paper-over-boards covers and tears in the cloth spine. The soiled front cover is held on by the two original cords but this attachment is very weak. Ink date on endpaper; ink circle on copyright page. Musty smell to text. Period advertising sticker on the front endpaper for "Prof. T. Wood, 107 Duane St., New York, Teacher of Congregations, Conventions, Singing Classes.". Quite scarce. 6 Worldcat holders. #. Rinder November 1959". A volume of sacred music and prayer. "An invaluable aid to Jewish worship and ceremonial observance"--dust jacket. Blue cloth with gilt titling on front and spine. Covers show light wear at top & tail of spine and along spine, with mild bumps to corners. Dust Jacket shows considerable wear and rubbing, with chipping and creasing along edges, and some loss along edges. Previous owner's bookplate and small notation at front pastedown; mild and limited damp staining to first few pages; otherwise interior is clean, crisp, tight & bright, unmarked. 308 pp. plus 7 pp. Index. Approx. 6.5" x 9.5". A nice copy of a scarce edition. Carefully shipped. Signed by Author(s).
