Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. No Statement of Printing. A Good copy (early owner's name) in dark green cloth lettered in gold. A paper tear at the lower front gutter has been glue-mended. Light cloth wear at the spine tip. The binding is sound, and the text is clean/unmarked. Uncertain edition, with translator's note dated December 1866, 1868 at the title page, and no other dates within. Possible first U.S. edition, but we are not certain. Book.
