Cloth. Condition: Good. First Edition. vi, 66 pages; with one b&w and 14 litho plates in colour. All edges gilt. Cloth sunned. Binding at some point repaired by someone with a penchant for paste, with cloth tape along hinges and spine panel glued down. Cloth along upper joint is split (with gap when lying flat) but the board is firmly in place, and the binding is sound. Tear with loss of paper to (original) front free endpaper. Above that, an inked name with date 1857. Various degrees of foxing to plates, primarily to margins; the three worst are pictured. In four instances the paper guard is not present facing a litho - rather inexplicably those guards are bound facing leaves of text.
