Interior is clean beyond previous owner name stamped on ffep,bookseller stamp inside front board and a number stamp on copyright page. Dust jacket is a tan paper with an aftermarket library plastic cling on it. Jacket is further protected by mylar. Dust jacket is worn around the edges and corners. Square on bottom of spine and rectangle top back board where, I assume, library stickers once were. 1/2 " fading at lower spine. Library pocket removed carefully from ffep. Top edge of ffep clipped. Page 185 has a slight (1/8 ") tear near the top in margin. All plates and maps in this volume are present. Map facing page 290 has small closed tear near bottom wear it folds out. Back endpaper has been removed. 304pp. First published in 1908, this book tells the history of exploration of western Canada.
