    Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. BROWN, Norton (illustrator). First UK Edition. First UK edition, with dust wrapper. Dark grey boards with gilt lettering on spine. Board edges are moderately thumbed, rubbed and therefore discoloured. Head and tail of spine bumped. Page edges are discoloured and well foxed, predominantly at the head edge. Pages throughout bear light discolouration. Pastedowns and free endpapers are lightly discoloured and foxed. Binding is neat and tidy. Previous bookseller's inscription on front pastedown has been liquid papered out. Otherwise this book is in good condition. Dust wrapper is thumbed, discoloured and well creased at the edges. Some small chipping along edges. Some scratches and scuffing of covers. Price clipped. Corners and edges are a little scuffed. Spine sunned and lightly discoloured, else in fair condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously but they usually present better than they sound.
