A collection of stories, poems, sketches, parodies, essays, and commentary from the longtime contributing editor of The New Yorker, including the first appearance in book form of such classic pieces as "The Song of the Queen Bee", "The Morning of the Day They Did It", and "Death of a Pig". White (1899-1985) is best known as the author of several highly popular books for children, including Stuart Little (1945), Charlotte's Web (1952), and The Trumpet of the Swan (1970). Signed.
