Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st ed. xi, 290p. Cloth. dj. 22cm. Jacket somewhat worn. Owen Dodson's copy with his bookplate, notes in pencil on front free endpaper as well as some pencil underlinings and check marks, etc. in margins. Laid in is a typed and SIGNED two-page Book Review by Dodson on high acid paper in fragile condition. Presumably a draft, since there are some holograph changes and quite bit of material has been "x"ed out. "The Seeking" was reviewed by Dodson ("But Not Transformed") in the July 21, 1953 issue of The New Republic.
