Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. First edition. Octavo. Color pictorial dust jacket (unclipped; few nicks). Very good. 228 pages. Second novel by the noted screenwriter (1907-1968). Signed and inscribed by Kurnitz in black ink on the front free endpaper: "To Bill Goetz, from an oarsman in the galley, Marco Kurnitz." Goetz (1903-1969), noted American producer; films include: "Sayonara" 1957; "They Came To Cordura" 1958. Hagen, page 226. Catalogue of Crime #1680 reprinted in 1948 under title: "Suspects All." Kurnitz authored the play "A Shot in the Dark" and "Once More With Feeling." His some 30 screenplays include "Witness for the Prosecution"; "See Here, Private Hargrove"; "A Kiss in the Dark"; "How To Steal a Million.".
