Quite heavy rubbing and fraying to the top and bottom of the spine also with some surface loss. There is also some surface wear to the front and rear panels. Small stains at the top of the front free endpaper and several larger stains to the rear free endpaper and the rear pastedown. A few light marks to other pages but the pages are otherwise generally unmarked. No jacket. I believe this is a first printing.

Gift inscription in ink on front end-paper dated 1974 & minot wear to corners of covers, else very good. Dust jacket is lightly rubbed & soiled. Minor edge-wear. The dust jacket is price-clipped, but all other 1st printing points are present, including the list of other titles on the rear of the dust jacket.
