It was adapted into the 1985 film The Shooting Party. The book is bound in the original brown boards with gold titling on the spine. The book is in excellent condition with very light bumping to the top of the spine. The contents are tight and clean with slight age-browning to the pages. A name has been neatly written on the front free endpaper. The unclipped dustwrapper has some shelf wear and the spine is faded. There is also some fading on the spine and top edges of the back of the wrapper.
