A 'punk-rock poet,' Michael-Sean Lazarchuk read at "The Grand Piano" poetry reading series in San Francisco, which ran from 1975-1980 at The Grand Piano Coffeehouse. "For over three years, the Grand Piano Reading Series was a venue for writers in the San Francisco Bay Area and visitors to the area." Ted Berigan, Joanne Kyger, Robert Duncan, David Meltzer, were among the hundreds of poets that participated in the reading series.
