No dust jacket as issued. SIGNED by the photographer on front free endpaper Special edition with a silk screened color signature in the middle of the book, called 'Entracte", with color silk screens of 4 churches. From the colophon: "240 houses in 16 settlements, all built in Nazi Germany between 1933 and 1945, photographed by Van der Weijde in 2008. These settlements (Siedlungen) were developed to offer housing for working-class NSDAP members. 'Siedlungspolitik' was a powerful tool to subject the working class to the state, by providing ideal living space for Nazis." Most of these houses still exist, however unless one knows their full history they retain an unassuming normality. Special 1st edition with a silk screened color signature.
