Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Card covers, two volumes, pp.x, 125 ; xii, 172. Both first editions, volume one was published in 1986, volume two, subtitled Interpolation and Approximation in 1989. Software, available at the time as a BBC disc, cassette for a BBC microcomputer or as an IBM disc for an IBM PC is not with these books, which are the first two volumes of a projected series on mathematical topics. Both are in very clean and sound condition, with only slight creasing to covers. Volume two has the original order form for the software pasted to the front endpaper, and neat pencilled annotation on the backs of the front and rear covers. Overall at least VG. Uncommon.
