Born in Dallas, Oregon, he served in the United States Navy in the Pacific Theater during W.W.I.I. after graduating from Willamette University; he later attended and graduated from Stanford University. This memoir details especially his young life and his political career that grew out of his academic tenure at Salem, Oregon's Willamette University. xi [1], 1-302 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards.
