Offered with several promotional pieces: a single sheet folded, [4] pp., a typed promotional, with testimonials dated 1916 - 1917, from Utica State Bank and others extolling the value of the Simplex Straw Spreader, and including an order form and return envelope for Manson Campbell Co.; a 3 pp. reproduced typescript from the Manson Campbell Co., this copy addressed to Mr. McClelland, dated March 9, 1917, offering him a special proposition to purchase the Simplex Straw Spreader at under the usual price and a chance to become a dealer to his neighbors; a typed note on letterhead for the Simplex Spreader Mfg. Co., dated Oct. 21, 1918, from the President of the company, L.D. Rice, offering the Simplex Spreader at a cash price of $79.80, accompanied by an order form filled out in K.
