Unbound. Condition: Very Good. SINGLE LEAF. Titled: "De Apparitione ad mare Tiberiadis" - Small full-page copper engraving by Peter Paul Bouche, with his name printed to lower right corner. With 7 lines of small Latin text printed below engraving. No date (circa 1675?). Plate printed on one side only. Verso blank. Original engra…ving. Laid paper. Dutch engraver Peter Paul Bouche was born in 1646 & died after 1693. The British Museum notes: "Peter Paul Bouche - Printseller and publisher, baptised in Antwerp on 14/10/1646 as Peter Paul Bouche, still there in 1670. Working in London by 1687". Ideal for framing. See photographs. With pencil note on verso, which notes, in part: "gravure sur cuivre, au burin. Seconde 1/2 XVII o s. Peter Paul Bouche 1646, Travailla a Anvers". Sheet size = 14 x 8cm. Image size = 10.5 x 7cm. Lower corner torn (not affecting engraving & barely touching text), slight handling wear, mild toning, otherwise a nice clean copy. RARE.
