Ex-library copy with school stamps, call numbers, and light smudges on a few pages; overall, a tight and sound copy; good. Though stated as being a first edition, this copy is in a pictorial binding, likely intended for library or school distribution, rather than the publisher's brown cloth. Inscribed and signed by Marguerite de Angeli along the top of the dedication page.
