An uncommon piece of Scottish fiction centered around the Old Course, St. Andrews and the protagonist caddie "Skipper". Author acknowledges assistance from another golf author, W. T. Linskill " for authentic details." No wear to covers (rear slightly rippled at top), the second free end paper and the last page have very light foxing, a printed presentation paper (occasion not indicated) dated 1913 covers front pastedown, rear free end paper has a name and notation below, otherwise, no underlining, marginalia, or other internal marks, no former owner names or folded page edges, etc. Nice clean copy of this scarce title. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
