Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Fair/Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. Sky High (1936), blue cloth lettered black on spine, traces of glue marks on cloth where the d/w was presumably attached, ffep removed (opens at half-title), with webbing exposed at inner hinge, text block browned and dusty, otherwise Fair/Good, in a d/w that has obviously had losses but now has a light card backing and areas mainly at spine ends and top of front panel restored, but "Newnes" at the spine base has been restored in white instead of the red it ought to be (the restorer presumably had no reference to the original missing piece), so only Fair overall, the good news is that this is the rare FIRST-ISSUE wrapper with an unclipped 3/6 price, and the CORRECT BACK PANEL with three new novels listed by Railton Holden, John Beynon ("Martian Blood"!!), and Robert Crane - NOT the 2nd issue showing a cartoon of Biggles. …
