This 1841 cartoon mocks a minor political atta…ck or statement made by a liberal or radical figure, suggesting it is inconsequential or laughably inadequate against the entrenched Conservative establishment. John Doyle, known by the pen name H. B., was an Irish political cartoonist, caricaturist, painter and lithographer.
