Minor foxing throughout the image, with toning and light stains along the margins; a prominent four inch tear in the upper left corner, extending into the image. Signed in the plate with the initials HB. This 1841 cartoon mocks a minor political attack or statement made by a liberal or radical figure, suggesting it is inconsequential or laughably inadequate against the entrenched Conservative establishment. John Doyle, known by the pen name H. B., was an Irish political cartoonist, caricaturist, painter and lithographer.
