First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. First UK Edition (first printing), issued two years after the original US edition. Small 4to. Unpaginated [26pp]. Decorated paper-covered boards. A nick to the backstrip results in about an inch of loss. Some partial toning to the free endpapers, and the binding a little tender at a single gathering. Short creases to toe tips of occasional, leaves. A single word inked to the margin of the front pastedown (and obscured by the wrapper flap). A good copy, very crisp internally, in the price-clipped dust wrapper which repeats the board design, but is a little rubbed, nicked, torn and soiled, with an inch of corresponding loss to the spine panel. Another of the author's delightfully illustrated cat books (her first to feature just-born kittens). Quite uncommon.
